2008 Garden Competition sprouting across the Territory

Welcome to the 2008 Public Housing Garden Competition. This year’s competition is branching out across the Territory, with great prizes on offer in all categories. So why not beautify your garden, take pride in your place and enter.

Katherine Region

Garden Competition opens Monday 12 May 2008.
Applications close Friday 27 June 2008.

Winners will be presented with their awards at a special award ceremony to be held at the Department of Local Government, Housing and Sports display at the 2008 Katherine Show in July.

Entry forms are to be lodged at the Katherine Tenancy Office. The competition is open to all Public Housing tenants in the Katherine area. Previous winners are eligible to enter.

Darwin and Palmerston Region

Garden Competition opens Monday 26 May 2008.
Applications close Friday 11 July 2008.

Winners will be presented with their awards at a special award ceremony to be held at the 2008 Tropical Gardens Spectacular, George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens in August.

Entry forms are to be lodged at your local Tenancy Office located in Darwin, Casuarina or Palmerston. The competition is open to all Public Housing tenants in the Darwin and Palmerston areas. Previous winners are eligible to enter.

Nhulunbuy Region

Garden Competition opens Monday 16 June 2008.
Applications close Friday 1 August 2008.

Winners will be presented with their awards at a special award ceremony in August.
Venue to be advised.

Entry forms are to be lodged at the Nhulunbuy Tenancy Office. The competition is open to all Public Housing tenants in the Nhulunbuy area. Previous winners are eligible to enter.
