| Territory Housing has a range of accommodation types and sizes in major centres of the Territory, including some purpose designed and modified housing for people with disabilities. Territory Housing's policies will determine the size of the number of bedrooms that an applicant's household will be entitled to. The purpose of these policies is to ensure that Territory Housing stock is being utilised effectively and to achieve Territory Housing's objective of encouraging tenants to establish a home from where they can access their community and all it has to offer. Once the Housing Entitlement of the applicant's household has been determined, and they are deemed eligible, they will be placed on the public housing waiting list for that category of accomodation in the centre of their choice. |
