Rental Rebates

Territory Housing operates a rental rebate scheme where the amount of rent payable by a tenant is based on a percentage of the household income. This subsidy, provided by the NT Government, is the difference between rent payable by the tenant and the market rent for the home.

Eligibility for rental rebate is determined by the value of the household's assessable income and assets, and whether the tenant owns or partially owns a habitable property within Australia.
