Private rental housing assistance

Low income earning Territorians struggling to access private rental housing (including permanent on-site caravans) can request assistance from Territory Housing in the form of an interest free loan (bond assistance) to help with covering the cost of the bond and initial rent payments.

Bond assistance can provide access to a greater choice of housing options as well as assisting you to gain safe, secure and affordable housing in the private sector.

In the future, options will also be available through the Territory's affordable housing rental company Venture Housing.
