Territory Housing is a Government Business Division in the Department of Local Government, Housing and Sport. It's key function is to deliver safe, secure and affordable housing to Territorians, ensuring that all Territorians have the opportunity to establish a home.

The Department of Local Government, Housing and Sport was created in July 2005, maintaining many of the responsibilities of the former Department of Community Development, Sport and Cultural Affairs.

Solutions to the housing needs of disadvantaged Territorians are not always simple or easily found. Housing requires a broad range of responses and for all levels of government and the community sector to work together.
